The Lingcod Jigs Ling Killers are a great option to target big lingcod! Made to get to the bottom and stay at the bottom in heavy current targeting the biggest lingcod that may be around. You can drop them down alone, or you can put the on a dropper loop with a torpedo sinker.  Having the sinker on the bottom will help prevent snagging the lure, you may only loose the weight.  

For added attractant, add a cured baitfish to the hook or a strip of squid.  The added sent will get them to bite and keep them on longer so you can set the hook.  We like squid since it stays on the hook very well and will allow you to catch several fish without having to change it out.

Cured bait will work well too since it is more dense and stays on the hook better than uncured bait.  Sardines, herring, or mackerel are good choices due to their oily nature and size.
