Redesigned for 2022, the Exist G LT returns with the renowned single-piece magnesium Monocoque Body from the previous generation. Not only does the Monocoque Body provide exceptional strength and rigidity while remaining incredible light, but it also allows for larger gear sets to fit inside the compact sized reel for increased power and longevity. New to this latest generation is the EXIST Air Drive System that consists of a ZAION Air Drive Rotor, Air Drive Bail, Air Drive Spool, and Air Drive Shaft. Constructed from Daiwa's revolutionary high strength low weight ZAION carbon material, the Air Drive Rotor is 15% lighter, features a screwless design, flush surface, and greatly increased rigidity. This new rotor design provides a rotation that is even more effortless than before for more precise stop-and-go reeling functionality for working lures or reacting to bites. Working in conjunction with the new rotor is the Air Drive Shaft, which offers better stability and power transfer to enhance smoothness. The newly designed Air Drive Bail is lighter than ever and precisely angled to allow seamless transition of line to the line roller. Finally the Air Drive Spool features a redesigned drag clicker that reduces resistance to create a smoother and more efficient drag. Daiwa's legendary Advanced Tournament Drag offers smooth drag payouts across the reels impressive drag range. All in all, the Exist G LT is among the lightest and most precise spinning reels ever produced, with extremely impressive torque and stopping power for a reel so light and comfortable to fish.
